Sam Carlise

I began coaching 1996 City of Phoenix leagues. In 1997 I met Gary Nolte we began coaching our daughters Naomi, Nicole and Erin along with Jamie Russell's daughters Alex and Sam. In 1998 Gary and I helped start a club called Arizona Supreme and won the 11U State Championship with the "B" team. That team went Louisiana to compete in the AAU Nationals. The next year the we started the Arizona Thunder. With the club turning into a huge sucess in the first year we incorporated along with the help of Bob Spurlock. In 1999 I took a 12U team and have been coaching club basketball along with running the club with Bob and Gary ever since. I have also been coaching in the Deer Valley School District since 1999 starting at Deer Valley Middle School and since 2005 at Barry Goldwater High School coaching Freshman, JV and now the assistant Varsity coach.
